Artists in Residence Program

Every year CCT brings the internationally acclaimed Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) to Charlottesville for a week-long residency.  Two professional actors/directors arrive with scripts, costumes, and sets.  They audition, cast, and rehearse the show with 50-70 local children, ages 6-18, over the course of the week, culminating in a public performance on Saturday.  MCT’s mission is the development of life skills in children through the introduction to and immersion in live theater.
